My 1st YouTube Video

A lot of people have YouTube channels. I also have one. I enjoy making YouTube videos very much because making them can make me relax.

I started making YouTube videos last year, 2020. My first YouTube video is about a book sharing, from a Library book. I was so nervous that my voice was shaking when I was recording it.

There was a very funny thing that I still remember. I was talking about the main characters when I accidentally kicked my dad’s phone off the table. My dad came in and asked, “Where is my phone? What did you do with it?” and I replied, “In the garbage bin. I kicked it in!” My dad was laughing so hysterically that I also started laughing. Mom came in and asked, “What is happening? What have you done?” I pointed at the phone and then at my foot. I thought my mom was going to go mad, but she laughed instead! At last, after we were out of breath from laughing, we went back to business. Dad checked his phone, which luckily, only smelled a little bad, but not damaged. I cleaned Dad’s phone and continued to record my video.

I felt so stupid after that. But a strange thing happened: I suddenly didn’t feel nervous or scared anymore. I immediately started to record my video.

At last, it took me 3 hours to finish recording! My dad asked me, “How come your leg could aim a phone at a garbage bin and not a soccer ball at a soccer field’s goal? I simply replied, “Luck!” and we laughed again.

My hope for next time is simple: it is not to kick anything off anything!
